A shout out to Schnucks. Ted had finished all of the shopping for Thanksgiving on Monday, but I needed to shop for family night tonight. You see I booked it at our house for a very good reason. Since everyone is coming to the house, I am putting them to work to make the Thanksgiving feast for tomorrow. Feed them. Work them. You see my well laid out plan. Lol. Oh and UNO later!
Anyway, Schnucks had every single checkout line open. Everything was well stocked. The staff, although very busy, was chipper as usual. I had two people stop me and ask if they could help me find anything. Super WOW!
As you shop this holiday season remember that being a customer service provider is not always easy. Compliment those who are going above and beyond. Put it out on social media. Tell their boss. They deserve the praise!
For those who don’t exceed your expectations, let them know privately. Putting it out on social media only gets people crazy! Handle it like you would want it handled it you were the provider they were discussing. It makes you look a lot better too.
